On Trend: Metallics

On Trend: Metallics

Gold, silver, bronze, and all things that have a metallic sheen are on trend. Here are a few items that have been catching my eye that lend a little sparkle. {1} I fell in love with this wire barrel pendant light that has an unexpected gold finish. {2} This iron accent table with organic style that is covered in distressed gold. {3} What can I say about these gilded cork wall coverings except STUNNING. There are so many color combos available too. {4} Industrial and bronzy, a round dining table becomes exceptional when topped with metal, not to mention all the wheels. {5} A bookcase with dimensional faceted doors becomes even more of a show stopper with silver leafing.

I personally love the trend and have already used it in client projects as well, especially through paint. How about you, have you introduced metallics in either a small or big way in your home?
