{Fab Five Fridays} my favorite chalk board applications

February 21, 2014

Versatility is the name of the game.  This week has been chalk full of making lists and then making revision after revision. (pun intended!)  I will be revealing to you a big project I am working on in several weeks, but it is keeping me hopping.  Going to a blogger event tomorrow is also on the list of things to do, of which I am very excited to attend.

Since being a list maker and also a sketcher is part of my personality, it would be no surprise that chalk boards are something that I like having around.  With chalk board paint being so popular, I thought I would gather a few of my favorite ways that it can be used.  Write, Draw, Erase, Start Over!

1 | Paper Source | Removable Chalkboard Wallies | $19.95

A 9”x12” piece of goodness without the commitment.

2 | {Furniture-Ology} | New Chalk Wall in the Works

Painting only a portion of a wall with a decorative border keeps this chalk wall contained.  This works great if you do not want to carry the paint all the way across the room.

3 | Cinnamon Post | Embellished Block

By embellishing this block of chalk board paint, this laundry room has a place to write sentiments to lift the days spirits.

4 | Anthropologie Lookbook | Decorative Art Pieces in Chalk

By drawing decorative art pieces in chalk like these antlers, it gives you visual interest and an inexpensive way to change out the art on your walls.

5 | Target | Threshold Wood Crates

These crates are a great way to keep track of what’s inside.  Although they are out in stores, I was unable to find them online yet.
