French County Style

Welcome back to my Style Guide series where this weeks style is French Country.  One of the biggest reasons I am posting this is because one of my clients has found this to be her personal home style and I am more than happy to bring it to life for her.

This is a mix of the elegant refinement of a French chateau and the simplicity of rustic living.  I love how crystals can be mixed with repurposed wood pieces and the fact that they compliment each other.  Countryside type of fabrics like canvas and burlap cover curving carved seating such as this settee.  Ribbons contrast an imperfect whitewash finish.

Keep looking each week for more style guides.
